These were a hit this week with my kids! I’m trying to lay off processes snacks and make healthier alternatives!
Ingredients
2.5 cups oats
1 cup gluten free flour or whole wheat flour
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup coconut or avocado oil (can also sub 1/2 for applesauce)
2 eggs
3 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon vanilla
8 Oz dark chocolate chunks
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pecans & coconut
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Greece a 9 x 13 baking dish.
3. In a large mixing bowl of a standing mixer, add all your ingredients except chocolate.
4. Fold in chocolate chips.
5. Spread in baking dish, bake for 20-25 min.
6. Let cool for 30 min. Slice up and put into an airtight container.
