Burger Bowls

Well ya know I’m a #saladslut and I’m officially putting a salad night on my weekly menu… because not only I love it, but the kids and Mike do too!


Burger bowls for the hump day win yesterday. Easy & good!


Fixings:


1 lb ground sirloin; browned with 4 teaspoons of garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

1 head of iceberg chopped

1 avocado

3-4 slices of cooked & chopped bacon

Red onion or carmelized onion

Garden tomatoes (thanks Deanna Lynn!)

Shredded cheese (pepper jack is good!)

Lots of pickles, chopped (this is key!)


And you can’t have a burger bowl without special sauce!


Sauce:

1/2 cup Mayo (do half Greek yogurt for a healthier spin)

2 Tablespoons ketchup

1 Tablespoon relish

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire

Squeeze of fresh lemon


Mix and serve, or make an assembly line! Sooooo good! I like to serve up with oven fries.
